TALES OF THE TRACK

A gritty graphic novel-style film based on real teen stories that turned school assemblies into life-saving experiences. Recreating and reimagining a real-life story that was co-created with high school students to ensure the authenticity of the character, narrative, and language.

Over the past five years, 14,000 people trespassed onto Queensland, Australia's rail tracks, with 2,466 near misses, many of which were caused by school-aged children putting their lives at risk.

The script became a graphic novel, and the graphic novel became a film. The film was created for 400,000 students, 32,000 teachers, and 553 high schools across Queensland.
